Stand by Michelle: Surgery and Healing

Hi Family and Friends,

I am having major surgery on Feb 12. I am having a Right Colectomy.  I have to have a somewhat large section of my intestines removed. This will include my appendix and lymph nodes around the area. I will be in the hospital for 2-5 days if all goes well, and up to 2 weeks if there are complications. I will be out of work for at least 4 weeks. I do not know when I will get disability for the time off I will need. Also, the expenses of the surgery are there too.  If you can help out at all, it would be graciously appreciated. I am embarrassed and I hate to ask, but I am trying to take as much stress off as I can. Thank you.
