We are raising money for our dear friends Michael and Sandra. Anyone who knows them knows that if you have a need they are the first to jump in and help in any way. Now it is time for us to support them!

Michael has a genetic condition, called Alpha 1 deficiency, which caused liver cirrhosis. It was progressively getting worse, and thankfully he suddenly was matched for a liver transplant. The surgery was successful and recovery is going very well so far but it will be a long journey.

Sandra is a school nurse and Michael is a teacher and they will miss work the remainder of the school year and over the summer as Michael recovers and Sandra cares for him. They would never want to ask for financial support but their friends and family want to support them, this is a way we can ease the financial stress so they can focus on healing.
