Hi friends and family! My sister Mia was diagnosed with kidney failure almost three and a half years ago. Fortunately, she was able to receive a kidney replacement almost a year and half ago. However, these past few months her health has negatively declined and took a turn. She was admitted to UPMC Presbyterian ER tonight with possible kidney failure once again. Her kidney function is abnormally high and she will be transported to the transplant ICU.
Mia has recently just moved into a new place. With the stress of moving and medical bills, she could definitely use all the help she can get!
My sister has so much more life ahead of her and deserves the entire world. I can’t sit here and watch my sister go into kidney failure again, yet alone lose her. My mom and I live miles away from her (almost 5 hours) and can’t always be there. My mom and I appreciate everyone who has supported Mia through her health condition and continues to support her.
Mia, for all who do know her, is the most strongest and down to earth person you will ever meet. She wears her heart on her sleeve and will go out of her way for anyone. This journey has been very difficult but she always carry’s a positive mindset and energy through it all.
Thank you all,
Zoe
