Hi, my name is Melissa Sondron Watkins. This picture is of me and my oldest brother who I adore.

In the last couple of months, he found out that he has bladder cancer. He’s had surgery to remove the tumors, but the cancer is in his muscles. The options he was given was to remove his bladder and have his intestine rerouted to a coloscopy bag, do chemo and radiation, or do nothing at all and let it run its course. If he has the chemo and radiation, then it will buy him about five years, but if he doesn’t, then it’s considerably less than that.

He has met his deductible for insurance this year, but it looks like the chemo and radiation would still cost him out-of-pocket at least $12,000 if not more, among other expenses.

I am asking if you fill it in your heart to give to help my brother have as long as he can left with family I would be beyond grateful.

He means the world to me, and I can’t imagine this life without him in it.
