My baby sister Melinda has survived so much in life. Within the past few years alone, a botched arm surgery and a diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis have caused her daily pain. Now she is battling stage 2 breast cancer. Anyone who knows my sister can tell you what a kind person she is. She goes above and beyond for her kids to ensure they are happy. She will go out of her way to help anyone if she is able. A proud sports mom, a true friend, and a loving sister.

Now, with undergoing chemotherapy and the sickness cancer causes, Melinda normally works as a nurse tech in an open heart unit of a hospital and has dedicated her life to help saving others but now is unable to work to support her family while undergoing treatment.
