Stand by Megan: A Nurse's Fight to Heal
Donation protected
Our mom Megan was at the harley rally last week in Myrtle Beach. While riding down the road she fell off of a golf cart, she suffered a traumatic brain injury. She was immediately rushed to the hospital where she had to undergo four brain surgeries. She is now in the neuroscience ICU of this hospital. My mom is a single mother of two daughters. She is putting both of us through college. She’s from Rowland, NC and resides in Franklin, NC. She’s been a nurse for nearly 26 years and is currently an LPN at the VA clinic in Franklin. As of right now, me and my sister are living with my Aunt and Uncle in Rowland to be closer to the hospital she’s in. I, her eldest daughter, lost my job days after coming to the hospital. Unfortunately, she will be in the hospital for months so she can recover. Her bills, cost of medical expenses, and traveling will add up. If you are able to contribute to donations, we would be very appreciative. We can give more information about our mom upon asking.
