First, I want to thank everyone for their donations and words of support, it has meant the world to me and my family. I also want to say that I would not be where I am in this case without everyone's support.

I am now near the finish line and can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. With that said, my appeal costs are going to be extensive, even though the case itself may seem straightforward. The range of quotes I have received runs anywhere from $20K for a brief response up to $85K for a brief plus oral argument.

Many have asked why I have to defend myself when the argument is based on the judge's decision. I have been told by every attorney I've consulted that I essentially need to hire counsel to justify the judge's decision to the appellate court.

With all of that said, I am going to fight this, and any support you can offer will help me and my family find peace.
