Stand by Mark: Three Surgeries Ahead

Hi, I'm Monica and I am starting this GoFundMe for my Fahjah (Dad), Mark McCracken. He is, by far, the best dad a girl could ever have been given. He has supported me throughout my life, and ask any of my family and friends, I did not make it easy on him. My dad is also an amazing dad to my brother Devin, husband to Diana, and the best Pop Pop to Aubrey, Deacon, and Nora.

For years, my dad has complained about extreme pain in his legs and his inability to walk long distances. Doctors really never took him seriously, until now. While we are so glad to finally have a diagnosis, it is more serious than we were anticipating and are reaching out looking for help.

My dad is going to need three surgeries, the first being a major one. His first surgery is an Aorta Femoral Bypass, that will be 4-5 hours long and a minimum of a two-month recovery time. After that, he will need a bypass done on each of his legs, and no, they can't be done at the same time. The recovery on these will also be lengthy.

We are asking for help for not only the medical bills that insurance will not cover, but also for the assistance in everyday bills that will keep piling up as my dad is out of work.

He has been a dedicated family man for over 35 years, and the stress of not being able to provide is weighing on him. All I and my family care about is that he gets the aid he needs. If you could please consider donating to help my dad and family out, we would all be forever thankful.
