Stand by Marissa in Her Time of Need

Marissa Bemiss was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer in March 2024. She's been fighting this battle daily over the last year, undergoing extensive medical care and chemotherapy with the goal of becoming cancer free.

Marissa was blessed to be matched with a Bone Marrow donor and on February 26, 2025 she successfully completed a transplant procedure.

As a result, she'll need to be hospitalized for continued medical care and supervision. Marissa's Doctor's are optimistic they'll be able to release her from the hospital by April 1st. However, once Marissa is discharged, she'll need to be in isolation for one full month in a hotel.

The cost of the accommodations and continued medical care are quickly adding up. The estimated total out of pocket cost (not covered by medical insurance) from this point forward is $10,000.

The Bemiss family would greatly appreciate any contribution, there is no amount too small, to put towards Marissa's hospital and quarantine stays.
