Stand by Marcus: Overcoming Cancer Together

Hello everyone,

This truly was difficult to put into words because of disbelief and confusion but also pride. Being prideful has its benefits; we were taught to be very strong, independent people, which isn't a bad thing, but at times we need to put that pride aside and ask for help. We need to trust that we are not in this alone.

Two weeks ago, our family got the devastating news that my older brother Marcus has colon cancer. He will undergo surgery in the next few weeks and has an extensive road to recovery.

For those that know our family, you know we are a very close family, through the good times and bad. But our family can't do it alone. This money will help with medical bills as well as providing relief for everyday bills due to him not being able to work until the recovery process begins.

I ask from the bottom of my heart to please help. Every penny counts.
