Help Support Emanual “Manny” Mathews' Recovery

Hi, my name is Ashlyn, and I’m the partner of Emanual Mathews — known to many as Manny — a lifelong Alaskan with a kind heart and strong spirit.

2 weeks ago, while traveling in Colombia, Manny was tragically robbed and shot. He is currently in the ICU and facing a long road to recovery. We are incredibly grateful that he is still with us, but he has a challenging journey ahead before he can return to normal function.

On top of navigating healing we are also battling an international health care system in a language that is not our own.

Manny needs someone by his side in Colombia to advocate for him, navigate a complex medical system, and help manage the mounting medical costs.
