On Wednesday august 20th , what was supposed to be a special trip for her 10th Birthday turned into a nightmare when the car she was driving in was involved in a terrible hit & run.

As a result of the accident, Mahli was airlifted to UCLA with bleeding on the brain, broken eye socket, head cracked open, broken ribs, broken pelvis, broke leg and horrific road rash from head to toe.

In the days since, the bleeding has subsided and has skin grafts done to repair her split forhead, but appears (by the grace of God) to not need any further surgeries to repair any other broken bones.

With that being said, the road to recovery is going to be LONG & PAINFUL. As a single mom with a single income household, Mahli's mother Maranda is going to need all the help she can get in covering finances while she's at Mahlis bedside for the foreseeable future.

And and all help is greatly appreciated by her family in this incredibly difficult time.
