I was recently diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. This is an extremely aggressive form of breast cancer. It is difficult to treat and difficult to keep from coming back. I will have the "kitchen sink" thrown at me starting next week with an extensive chemotherapy and immunotherapy regimen. I plan to continue to work as long as I can throughout this process. I work as a nurse in a hospital around all kinds of germs. As flu season approaches, I will most likely get to a point where I am too sick to work. If you feel that you can contribute to this fundraiser to help me with any expenses once I get to that point, please do what you can. Any funds not spent will be donated to breast cancer research or other patients going through a similar experience.

This is devastating news for my family and me, but we are going to make the best out of this experience. I'm only 31 years old, so this is hard to swallow.

There are only two things that I ask from my community. One, pray! Pray hard! Pray for me, pray for my family, pray for my doctors, nurses, and medical staff. Two, please do not treat me any differently. No pity, no sorrow, no long faces will be accepted. This will not be easy, but I will make it through.
