Stand by Lulu: Flood Recovery Fund
Donation protected
My name is Tanya. I'm a near-lifelong friend of Lulu Cameron. Do you know Lulu? She seemingly knows everyone. She's the woman with the effervescent personality who owns Lulu on W. Marshall Street in Ferndale. Her store and studio flooded this week. Her insurance doesn't cover floods. Most likely, the landlord's insurance doesn't cover floods either. She's holding out hope, but chances are very slim. She needs help cleaning up the mess (an emergency flood team is on their way but expensive), saving the art (that wasn't destroyed by the flood) by renting a temperature-controlled storage space, re-doing the floors (at the very least), and probably more (maybe much more). This is where you, her wonderful community and her many, many friends come in. We hope to raise money to help her in this time of emergency. She would be most appreciative. If we raise too much or the landlord's insurance surprisingly covers everything, Lulu would donate the funds to Doctors Without Borders. Please help save this gem of a store by helping its gem of an owner by donating today. Thank you so very much!
