For more than 25 years, Lt. Rafael (Lengua) Fernandez (Ret) has selflessly dedicated his life to serving Miami-Dade County as a firefighter and paramedic, going above and beyond to protect our community. His commitment to excellence didn’t stop there — he also became an internationally recognized fire instructor, having an imeasurable impact around the world.

Unfortunately, during a recent training exercise, a tragic accident occurred. As a result, Ralph now finds himself facing a legal battle with Miami-Dade County. This is a man who has given so much to the community, and now he needs our help.
