LeRoy, is currently at risk of losing his home due, to not being able to work the last few months. LeRoy, has struggled with alcohol abuse and mental illness all of his life. In November 2024, this man courageously decided he wanted to live a life free of alcohol and started on his recovery journey. He did one of the hardest things in life and admitted he had a problem and asked for help. Right away he enrolled in a Recovery Roots, Chemical Dependency & Mental Health Treatment Program. Where he is thriving and has started healing his mind, body and soul.

A few months into his alcohol recovery he found out he has cirrhosis of the liver. He's been working with his doctors and therapist to cope with his new diagnosis, depression, anxiety, and grief due to his father's unexpected passing.

He is currently attending CD/MH treatment, group therapy, individual therapy and has graduated from TMS treatments for his depression and anxiety. He has many doctors' appointments and is working hard on becoming a healthier self. He has also lost 50lbs and is currently planting a garden full of health foods for himself.

LeRoy, has found comfort in pray and is an active member of the Community Worship Center, of Sandstone. He now walks a life with GOD, purpose and HOPE.
