Stand by Leighton After Assault

Donation protected
My brother Leighton was walking home from work when a homeless man who appeared to have schizophrenia (he was muttering things about devils, demons, and the rapture) started to follow him. Leighton crossed the street; the man did as well. Leighton crossed the street again, and so did the man. Leighton again crossed the street to get into the nearest business, and the man again followed him. At this point, Leighton pulled out his cell phone, and that seems to have spooked the man, and he punched Leighton in the eye, causing serious damage. Leighton was rushed to the ER and was given a CT scan. It showed some broken bone around the eye as well as some internal bleeding around the area. He was then referred to an eye specialist. At this point, the eye is still too swollen to assess if he's going to need surgery and what the long-term impact is going to be on his vision. Due to the nature of his job, he is unable to work until the doctor gives the all-clear.

If you are able to donate to help alleviate the stress of the piling medical bills (hospital, eye doctors, surgeons), it would be extremely helpful.
