Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out on behalf of one of my best friends, Leah, who recently suffered a serious injury and is currently unable to work. As many of you know, she is one of the most caring and compassionate people around. I have been blessed to have her friendship and support for the last 5 years. I am sure she has been there for many of you as well, and now we get the opportunity to return the favor.

She recently had a fall after passing out, that left her with a small hemorrhage, multiple skull fractures, and a fracture at C1. She will likely be out of work for about 8 weeks with the possibility of continued inability to work or increased medical costs while searching for what might be causing these episodes of passing out.

With the loss of income, recovery needs, and dwindling PTO (which is creating a concern for keeping health insurance), even the basics are becoming a struggle for this family. Any amount you can contribute would be beyond helpful and appreciated during this time.
