Hi, my name is Katie Hudson. I have lived in Eastern Kentucky my whole life. The 2025 flood has ruined me. Everything that I owned was destroyed. I'm going to have to replace all of my furniture and find a new apartment to live in.

the intent behind the gofundme is first for the deposit on a new apartment. Then first months rent.

transfer of service fees for internet and electricity.

then to replace at least my desk so I can resume working from home. New box springs for my bed as they have been destroyed as well. (The mattress is still in a position where we might be able to salvage it.)

getting new dishware as mine was also destroyed in the flood (pots pans plates forks bowls spoons.)

as well as getting a few new clothes under items and replacing all the household items I have lost. From cleaning supplies to trash bags, trash cans, mop broom dustpan. Toilet brush.)

lastly for the things like towels, shower curtains and if I have enough a couple curtains and hangers for wherever I end up. Thank you for taking the time to read all this. I know you are an amazing person and thank you again even just for your time.
