Stand by Kathy as she fights Cancer again.

Kathy Anderson has been my friend for 40 years. She is silly, funny, compassionate, and loyal and was diagnosed with angiosarcoma of the left breast in March of 2025. This cancer is extremely rare and was caused by the radiation she received in 2013 for stage 1 breast cancer.
She has once again had to face multiple scans, blood tests, and seeing many different doctors at many different hospitals. She has faced all of this as she always does, with a quiet strength, not asking for help, just figuring it out and getting through.
Kathy's passionate about helping adults with mental illness and intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD) lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. She currently works at a local community mental health center as a job coach. A position she has held for with this agency for 18 years. She also volunteers for the T. Eric Piecyk Fund, which creates recreational opportunities for adults with IDD.
Kathy also cares for her elderly mother and brother. They both rely on her help with many tasks of daily living, especially navigating their own cancer journeys and health care challenges.
Kathy lives with her cats and her life partner, Neal. She loves to paint, draw, garden, and listen to music, especially Elvis. She has many close friends and relatives, but unfortunately, the cost of her scans and many of the other treatments are expensive and costly. She has a $6k deductible and has been out of work since March with more than half of her treatments to go; she needs some help.
She has not asked for help. This GoFundMe was suggested by her many friends and colleagues.
Please consider helping out someone who has given so much to so many.
