Hello! I'm Sherry and I've never done a GoFundMe before, but God laid this upon my heart to reach out and ask for support for my sister Karen, and brother-in-law Ross. Many of you know Karen had abdominal surgery in January; however, she wasn't recovering as she should and she still felt sick. She was scheduled for scans on March 16 and appointments following the next day at UVA. However, the morning of the 16th, Ross became ill, collapsed, was taken to the ER, and life-flighted to UVA the next day. As a result, Karen's appointments were delayed and Ross is still hospitalized at UVA. Over 3 weeks and he is still there. He has had surgery, several complications, and will need a biopsy as soon as it is safe. In the meantime, Karen found out she now has an infection in her abdomen which is requiring medication for several months. She has been trying to stay with Ross at UVA (and it's hard on her because she is sick also). She has been unable to work since January (before her surgery), and I would like to help alleviate some of the financial burden this has been putting on them. She has to pay for the trips when and if she travels back and forth, all meals, and lodging when she isn't in the room with him.

If you can support them in any way, it would be so appreciated. They don't know I've created this account because they wouldn't ask for help, but I'm doing it because God led me to do so.
