A little something about Kali shes 25 years young & a WONDERFUL SUPERMOM of now 3 beautiful baby boys ages 6, 2 & now a very handsome newborn thats 1 month old!
Baby Ezra Densley was born 5pds 13.8oz on January 18th 2025. As some of you may know, Ezra was born with congenital CMV (Cytomegalovirus).
CMV can cause a number of health issues ranging from vision loss, hearing loss, seizures, as well as developmental delays and the list goes on.
Ezra has been diagnosed with moderately severe sensorineural hearing loss in both ears, microcephaly, and is at high risk for seizures due to two small spots on the brain that indicate injury, as well as other MRI findings that are consistent with congenital CMV. Ezra is also most likely to deal with motor and cognitive impairments in the future.
Ezra will need to have tiny baby hearing aides and get fitted for them regularly as he grows. Ezras family have picked lime green with a yellow swirl for his first molds! There is a chance his hearing will decline as he gets older, and in that case he would require a cochlear implant surgery but we are hopeful that it will not get to that! He is currently on medication, twice daily for 6 months to try to prevent further hearing loss. This medication requires weekly lab work for 6 months to monitor and watch for possible neutropenia. Ezras family is currently working with his neurologist to figure out a plan to best aid and prevent seizures and Ezra currently has referrals out to first steps for speech therapy, physical therapy etc..
As you can see, Ezra has been through a lot and has had to see numerous specialists and has had to have numerous tests done in his short one month of life. He is the sweetest and strongest little baby boy ever! He is a blessing❤️
In the time that he’s been born, unfortunately things have fallen behind with bills and income, and it has been a struggle lately to keep up with things as I’m sure you can imagine in this world. Ezras mom is set to be back at work in March but with his medical issues, regular and weekly follow ups with specialists, he requires lots of time, care, love, and attention and to do so, more time off needs to be taken.
So, here we are, as her village building this to help and support Kali & her 3 beautiful baby boys and be able to stay above waters for as long as we can help!
So if you all can find it kindly in your hearts to donate & share this post it would mean the world!
We thank you tremendously even if its just a share!
