Courage to ask for help with 2nd cancer diagnosis

My name is Julie Robinson. In 2011, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. This was a long, tough journey for me; I am now in remission.

As of January 2025, I am beginning another journey; one that I am having a very difficult time making a reality. I have been diagnosed with colon cancer. I do not know what stage yet, as my surgery is scheduled to be in February 2025. There is a delay with this due to clearances that I need to have from my cardiologist.

I am connecting with GoFundMe as I will be faced with many challenges, a lot of them being, "How am I going to pay my monthly bills?"

This is quite scary for me to broadcast this as it is most sensitive to me, but with encouragement, I have found the need to ask for help; for financial help under this extreme circumstance. My life is dramatically changing with this news of another cancer and I find it very difficult to "hang in there." One of my prayers is that I can get help with my finances; this I hope can be one burden that I can remove.
