Monday April 14, the unimaginable happened.
Our beloved Josh, a 37-year-old husband, father, and man of deep faith, suffered a sudden and life-altering stroke. In the blink of an eye, his life—and the lives of his beautiful family—changed forever.
After rushing him to the hospital, and digging into Josh's specific medical history, doctors pinpointed the cause: a cavernous malformation—a rare and serious condition in the brain that led to the stroke. He has previously dealt with this but with deeper understanding, It’s a diagnosis that now requires not only immediate and ongoing medical attention, but specialized care to ensure recovery and protect his long-term health and quality of life.
Right now, Josh is unable to walk unassisted, speak clearly, or care for himself. He faces a long and difficult road—filled with physical therapy, speech and occupational therapy, neurological evaluations, and possibly brain surgery. But even in this moment of uncertainty, we know this: Josh is a fighter. And we believe in the strength God has given him.
More than anything, Josh is a man devoted to his family. A faithful husband to his wife, Megan, and a loving father to two young daughters who miss their daddy more than words can say. He is the kind of man who reads them Bible stories at night, teaches them about love and faith through his actions, and always makes sure his family feels safe, seen, and cherished.
What makes this even harder is that Josh has always been the primary breadwinner for his family. He has worked tirelessly to provide stability and security, allowing Megan to focus on raising their daughters and building a home full of love and faith.
With Josh now unable to work, their world has been turned completely upside down.
Megan is doing everything she can—trying to be present at Josh’s bedside, caring for their little girls, and juggling the weight of bills, medical decisions, and grief. It’s simply too much for one person to carry alone.
This family now faces an overwhelming financial burden: mounting medical bills, the cost of travel to specialists, rehabilitation, childcare, and daily living expenses—all without the income they depended on.
So today, we’re asking for your help.
If you’re able to give, your support will go directly toward Josh’s care and his family’s basic needs during this painful, uncertain season. Every dollar helps. And if you’re not in a position to give, please consider sharing this story—and most importantly, PRAY.
Pray for healing. Pray for strength. Pray that Josh will walk again, speak again, and return to the life and family he so deeply loves. Pray for Megan, that she may find peace and hope in the middle of this storm.
We believe in miracles. We believe in the power of prayer. And we believe that God is not finished with Josh’s story.
Thank you for walking with them. Thank you for loving them.
