Hello everyone, I’m reaching out in hopes to raise money for my friend Melinda’s son Jonathan (whom is like a son to me) hospital bills. On 2/9/25 he was involved in a hit and run on his way home he was on his motorcycle and got ran off the road causing severe injuries. He is suffering a broken leg from the shin down missing the bone, 6 broken ribs, bleeding on the lungs. He has to have at minimal 5 surgeries as of right now in order to save his leg and regain full movement back. Today was his second surgery and the biggest procedure yet (he is still currently in surgery) Today the surgery begun with a clean out to make sure there is no infection and then they placed the Rod through what was left of his bone in his leg and then they put antibiotic cement on the screws in hopes to keep infection away. This part of the surgery was to reconstruct the skin that is gone which he only has one blood vessel going to his foot they said they would be able to use the one below his knee to help the flap get blood flow. That had to pull skin from his thigh as well. He will have another surgery in 6 to 8 weeks. He’s got a long road to recovery ahead of him and him and his mom are gonna need help with the hospital bills as well as bills at home as they both are currently off work until he can walk again.
