My name is Tabatha and I’m writing on behalf of my strong, beautiful, and inspiring 15-year-old niece, Johnna, who has been facing the fight of her life with courage and grace.

In October of 2024, Johnna was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) — a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Since then, her life has been filled with hospital stays, chemotherapy, transfusions, and pain no teenager should ever have to endure.

Earlier this year, she bravely underwent a bone marrow transplant, hoping for a cure. Johnna and her family were blessed with a few short weeks of normalcy and fun, but despite all the love, strength, and prayers behind her, the transplant sadly did not succeed.

Now, Johnna and her family are facing an incredibly difficult reality. With no curative options left, they’ve made the brave and loving decision to shift their focus from aggressive treatment to quality of life — to make sure Johnna can live her days surrounded by comfort, love, and joy.

This fundraiser is to support Johnna’s new journey. Donations will help provide:

• Specialized comfort and palliative care

• Time at home with her loved ones

• A chance to fulfill some of her wishes and dreams

• Support for her family to take time off work and be fully present with her

• Travel, meals, and care-related expenses during this difficult time

Johnna is still full of light. She loves spending time with her siblings and pets, friends, family, and anything else fun that pops into her head. She still laughs, still dreams, and still brings joy to everyone who knows her. She deserves moments of peace, beauty, and connection — and your support can help give her that.
