Help Alyssa Support Her Best Friend
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Alyssa, and I’m organizing this fundraiser for my best friend, Joey.
Joey has always been someone who brings light into people’s lives. Even while facing private struggles, he’s the kind of person who checks in on others, uplifts them, and offers his time and energy without expecting anything in return.
He has always been the kind of person who shows up for others—even while silently going through his own struggles. He’s emotionally generous, kind, and thoughtful, and I’ve seen him carry burdens that most people never even hear about.
Right now, Joey is going through a hard time. He’s temporarily without stable housing in Laredo, Texas, and I can’t help him while I live out of the city. To make things even harder, Joey recently lost his car after falling behind on payments, which means he no longer has reliable transportation to get to work or even secure basic needs. He’s doing everything he can to stay afloat—without ever asking for much—but no one should have to go through this alone.
He’s doing his best, but getting to work, accessing food, and covering basic needs has become incredibly difficult.
He’s not the type to ask for help—but I’m asking on his behalf without his knowledge to surprise him. This fundraiser will go toward helping Joey get:
• A reliable vehicle or consistent transportation
• Food and basic living necessities
• A safe and stable place to stay
I’m hoping to raise funds to help him find a safe and stable place to stay, cover basic living expenses, and eventually get reliable transportation again. Every little bit makes a difference, whether it’s $5, $50, or simply sharing this with someone who might be able to help. This isn’t just about financial help—it’s about reminding someone who’s always been there for others that he’s not alone either. He’s trying to rebuild his life with integrity and resilience, and this support would mean the world to him right now.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and donating.
