Our dear friend Jay, a kind-hearted man loved by the San Diego community, was brutally attacked while washing his hands in the public restroom near Belmont Park Friday morning. The attacker immediately ran off leaving Jay with missing teeth and his face badly injured.

Jay has been a fixture on the board walk for many years. He always brings light-hearted, positive energy, and smiles to those around him. He is known for cruising the boardwalk, saying hello, and giving compliments to passerby’s calling them handsome and beautiful no matter what day it is.
