Stand by Jason's Family During This Tragedy
Donation protected
Saturday, January 25th, Jason was out in Pittsburgh with his youngest son Justin and his girlfriend, Whitney. While having a great time eating with his family, Jason suddenly went into cardiac arrest. Unfortunately, the family has been notified that Jason was without oxygen for too long, which caused devastating brain damage. Jason was taken to the ICU at UPMC Presbyterian and has been there since Saturday. The family had to make the heart wrenching decision yesterday to take him off life support this Friday, January 31st.
Jason was a hardworking man who would do anything for his family. He had a deep love for others and showed that through his actions. He treated everyone like family. Jason would drop anything to help others, especially for his kids. He was a dedicated employee at Arch coal and loved his job. Jason loved having a good time with family, hunting and riding his side by side. The tragic incident occurred while doing what he loved, drinking a Busch lite while being surrounded with his loved ones laughing and having a good time at a restaurant.
All of the medical bills, transportation back to WV, and funeral planning have now fallen on his three sons. The family has been staying in a hotel hours away from home since Saturday. His girlfriend Whitney, has not left the hospital since he was brought in. In the midst of losing the pillar of the family, anything to assist during this tragic time would be greatly appreciated.
