Stand by Janice: Surgery & Recovery

So, on Friday, May 30th, I was having pain in my lower abdomen. I thought it would go away, but on Saturday, I still had the pain and was hoping it would go away. On Sunday, June 1st, of course, the pain was worse, and I went to the hospital. They did a CAT scan with contrast and found it was my appendix, and I had to have surgery. Scary, I wasn’t expecting that.

So, apparently, I have sepsis, and my blood sugar is between 200 and 300. I don’t have diabetes, and they are thinking it is caused by the infection or the medication. Again, scary, never had any issues with my health. I need help. I am missing work, and I don’t know how long I will be out of work. I have bills and animals who need things, and I can't go to work to help. Please, anything will help.
