Local, single, mother of 2, Jade Lott, is fighting to recover from a severe case of sepsis which left her unable to breathe, unable to see, and rushed to surgery last week where they found a severe infection (sepsis) throughout her abdomen. Jade was in so much pain that she could not even walk.
After a week, she is finally out of ICU and they removed her breathing tube, but she has a long way to go in her recovery. She is still hospitalized, still has fluid in her lungs and the medical team remains concerned. Jade is self-employed as a personal trainer and also works several part-time jobs in our community to make ends meet. Jade and her two daughters just moved into an apartment in River Falls and were moving forward with life.
Jade will be in the hospital at least another week and will likely need rehabilitation and a lot of rest when she can come home. She will not be able to work all her jobs to pay her bills and support her girls. Can you help Jade?
