Jacob is a passionate, hardworking 14-year-old who has spent his entire summer training for the upcoming football season. He poured his heart into preparing for the sport he loves — but during practice, he suffered a devastating injury: a broken femur.

Jacob was rushed to Syracuse and into surgery. Thankfully, the procedure went well. He will now begin the long, grueling road to recovery. But as you can imagine, this unexpected injury has turned his family’s life upside down.

Between surgery costs, hospital stays, physical therapy, and around-the-clock care, the medical bills will be overwhelming. The family will now have to navigate missed work, transportation to appointments, and the many day-to-day costs that will come with helping Jacob heal and recover.
