Hi friends and family, as most of you know, back in February of 2024, I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma. After 4 surgeries and 20 rounds of radiation, I was cleared; the cancer was gone. So I thought. This year, last month, I went in for discomfort in the breast where the cancer resided. The findings were just scar tissue from the surgeries; however, my mammogram showed a spot in my other breast. Yes, cancer showed its ugly face again, and almost a year to the date, I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma, AGAIN!
Luckily, I only had one surgery this time. However, I am currently experiencing complications from the lymph area that are keeping me from returning to work. With so much time off work due to appointments, surgery, this complication, and soon radiation, I have again fallen so far behind. I'm not one to ask for help but rather be the helper. I didn't have a choice but to swallow my pride and ask for a little help, even if it's just to be placed on your prayer list.
I love and appreciate you all and wish nothing but the best of life and health for you. Thank you for taking this time to read my story.
BLESS YOU ALL!!
