Stand by Heather, her kids, & her fancy hospital cup

This is my gorgeous friend Heather modeling our country’s most expensive knock-off Stanley, aka her hospital cup. Heather has more healing cuts and scars than I can keep up with, and more mounting hospital bills than she can keep up with. Her MRI this week wasn’t promising so she’s finally letting us start a a GoFundMe.

Heather is a women’s health nurse who helps provide a safe place for folks in tough situations. People who don’t always have someone in their corner, and now she needs folks in her corner. Heather isn’t going to be on her feet for a while.  Not only is she facing mounting hospital and doctor bills while still supporting three kids at home, she also has to pay her insurance premiums out of pocket while out of work. Any bit of help- whether it be financial or sharing her story on social media- will be so appreciated.   Her FMLA with her hospital job is about to run out, which means she won't be guaranteed a job to return to.
