Several years ago, I met Gustavo in Cary, NC at Centaur training. Fast-forward 18 months and Gustavo became part of our team. Most of us have had the pleasure of working with Gustavo and know that he is not only a great professional, but a very good man. I know that he has helped me many times in the field and fills many holes in our ability to service our customers.

I like most of you probably have only ever heard of the excruciating ordeal becoming a US Citizen can be. Gustavo and his family are fighting this battle nearly daily.

A couple years ago, delays in paperwork forced Gustavo back to Brazil to renew his visa. Here we are again! This time he and his entire family will return to Brazil for roughly 4 weeks to straighten out their visas. Gustavo will be using PTO, probably unpaid time, out of pocket money for 4 round-trip plane tickets, and will be kenneling his family dog. The financial burden in addition to the already burdensome process is one we will never have to deal with.
