On November 29, 2024, Greg Nicely was in a horrible motorcycle accident that left his leg in shambles. He was transported via ambulance to the emergency room and immediately rushed to surgery, where the doctors weren't sure if they would be able to save his leg. They decided not to amputate and were able to put a large rod in the bottom half of his leg. He has been in immense pain since. About a month ago, Greg went back to the doctor's office for a check-up, and they told him that the inside of the bottom half of his leg was eaten up with MRSA, an extremely bad form of staph infection. Doctors said the bacteria was probably on the peg when it went through his leg. He would need to immediately have surgery again. The doctors removed the infected rod and replaced it with another that was soaked in antibiotics. He had to stay in the hospital for about a week and was placed on a strong antibiotic.
Throughout this whole process, Greg has not been able to work, and the bills are stacking up. Greg is the type of man that would give you the last shirt off his back if you really needed it. Now is the time to do the same for him. Anything would help get him through this rough chapter of his life.
