Glenn was a passenger in a pretty awful car accident Thursday July 31. Our goal for this gofundme is simply so he doesn't have to stress about home life whenever he can get back to it. We had complications pop Friday around 10pm rushed for ct scans then had an emergency operation to get a chest tube in to release fluid from in his chest Saturday at 2am, that helped but it progressed when the fluid solidified a bigger tube was added Sunday afternoon, more solidified for comfort and prep for the surgery he was intibated at 7pm he stablized and the surgery to remove the access happened this morning at 7 am they finished at 9:40am and all went well. He's awake and doing well and has made huge progress again in just a day. Physcal therapy started back up immediately he even got to take a lil walk today. Theres talk of being able to get the chest tubes removed already. We should have a formal swallow study today well be able to know if the feeding tube can be removed. There is also talk about being moved out if the ICU to a new room today, well see after another evaluation of all the variables. This is going to be a longer road then we expected sadly but were still working towards progress. The next update is gonna be amazing.
