Early in 2024, Fernando Gisone was diagnosed with cancer. This diagnosis was a shock as he had just finished yet another 100-mile ultra marathon.

Throughout the year, Fernando sought treatment and remained in high spirits, all while still running and running and running more 100 milers.

Although it was thought that progress was made, as the calendar turned to 2025, the Gisone family received disappointing news that the cancer had spread and it has now been classified as Stage 4.

Fernando is going to have more aggressive treatment and, as you can imagine, the medical bills will continue to mount. As a small business owner, going to treatments can often impact his upholstery business. Fernando is one of the kindest human beings and always gives everyone (human or animal) any support that is needed.

Therefore, we feel it's important to help him financially during this difficult time. This effort is being organized by several friends of Fernando. All proceeds will go directly to the family to offset the medical bills they continue to receive.
