On July 14th, 2025, a fire broke out in the house where my mother, grandmother, and brother Ethan West were staying. Ethan bravely took charge and put out the fire, saving our family and their home, but in doing so, he sustained 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 34% of his body. He was urgently flown to the UCHealth ICU Burn Unit in Aurora, Colorado. Ethan is scheduled for surgery on Friday, which will include skin grafts, and he will remain in the ICU for at least a month to recover.

Unfortunately, Ethan does not have medical insurance, and with the family living four hours away, it has been incredibly difficult to be by his side during such an excruciating time. We are reaching out for any support—whether it be towards medical bills or helping keep his loved ones close to him as he fights through this. Any amount would be deeply appreciated.
