Subject: Remembering Errol “Bo” Naquin and Supporting His Family
Dear Friends & Clients of Errol,
It is with deep sadness to share that our dear friend and colleague, Errol “Bo” Naquin, passed away last night, April 28, 2025.
As many of you know, Errol had been battling serious health challenges following a major stroke on March 8th. Despite the incredible care and love from his family, Errol passed peacefully while in hospice care.
Errol was more than just a talented designer and dedicated craftsman—he was a devoted husband, proud father, trusted friend, with a warm, generous spirit who left a lasting mark on every person and project he touched. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In the wake of his passing, his family is facing not only the heartbreak of loss but also significant financial burdens from his medical care and the loss of income during his illness. To help ease this burden, I have set up a GoFundMe campaign in support of his family.
If you are able to contribute, any amount—big or small—would be deeply appreciated and will go directly to his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. Your kindness would mean the world to him and his family, and every donation, any amount, big or small, will make a difference.
Even if you're not able to give financially, your thoughts, prayers, and messages of support mean the world. Let’s come together to honor Errol’s memory and support the family he cherished so much.
Thank you for your compassion, kindness and support during this incredibly tough time.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Erica Larkin Gaudet

Obituary:
Errol Joseph (“Bo”) Naquin
May 14, 1964 ✟ April 28, 2025
Errol Joseph “Bo” Naquin died on April 28, 2025, at the age of 61, surrounded by his family at home in Marrero, Louisiana. He was born on May 14, 1964, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Bo was preceded in death by his father, Errol Naquin of Marrero, and by his grandparents: Lawrence Naquin, Leonise Leonard Naquin, Anna Rudolph Darder, and Paris Darder.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Kimberly Hardy Naquin of New Orleans; his mother, Alice Dardar Naquin; his children, Ashley Naquin Jaubert (Joseph) of Marrero and Bo Naquin of Marrero; his brother, Bryan Naquin (Tanya) of Marrero; and his adored grandchildren, Gabriella Mihail, Kilee Mihail, and Zelda Jaubert.
Bo grew up as the elder of two sons in Marrero, Louisiana. He spent his childhood and much of his adult life at the family’s beloved “Da Camp” in the back of Westwego, a tradition more than fifty years in the making. He graduated from John Ehret High School and went on to vocational school to study auto body and paint—where he discovered his gift for working with his hands and with metal.
Over time, Bo became a master ironworker and artisan, known for crafting beautiful railings, lighting fixtures, and furniture for homes and historic buildings throughout New Orleans and beyond. His hands shaped the landscape of the city he loved, preserving its unique, southern traditions and architectural charm with every weld. He was happiest when creating, fixing, or building something with purpose and passion.
A true Louisianian, Bo lived fully and joyfully, taking advantage of everything the state had to offer. He loved to fish, hunt, ride four-wheelers, play guitar, and, most famously, host legendary crab and crawfish boils for family and friends. His cooking, laughter, and music brought people together, and he had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. Bo had a big heart, a quick wit, and a personality (as well as presence) that filled every room—loyal, funny, and endlessly generous with his time and friendship.
Above all, Bo was devoted to his family and proud of his grandchildren, who brought him great joy. He lived as a man who never sat still, who always had a project in motion or a story to tell, and who cherished every gathering, every meal, every memory made with those he loved.
