Stand by Elva: Her Road to Recovery

Dear Friends, Family and Community,

We are reaching out on behalf of our dear friend and colleague Elva; who is currently facing a significant challenge. She was recently involved in an unfortunate accident and in results had broken her arm and leg in several locations. She is currently in the hospital where she was rushed to have an emergency surgery and received a blood transfusion and is now receiving daily physical therapy etc. As you can imagine this has been an incredibility challenging time for her as she is alone with only her beloved dog that she misses dearly and her only family are out of state.

As we all know Elva is an amazing Social Worker who is a hardworking and a caring individual who has always gone above and beyond for more than 30 years for her patients, patients’ family, and community. Elva was not only dedicated to her patient and their family but her selflessness radiated towards whoever she came to meet.

Now it is our turn to support Elva in this difficult time. The road to recovery will be long and she will need our help to cover medical bills, everyday living expenses, vehicle expenses, loss wages, home care (when that time comes), physical therapy cost, boarding cost for her companion dog (that was training to be a service dog).
