Stand by Eli: Aid Her Recovery and Family

On Friday August 8th, Elizabeth Cardenas (Eli), a 21 year old University of Oregon student and aspiring lawyer, was struck by a car while riding her bike. She suffered multiple broken bones and a severe traumatic brain injury.

Elizabeth came to the U.S. from Mexico to follow her dream of becoming a lawyer, leaving her family behind to pursue her education. Now, in this devastating moment, her loved ones are facing the enormous challenge of traveling here to be by her side and covering mounting medical costs.

Elizabeth llegó a Estados Unidos desde México para perseguir su sueño de ser abogada, dejando atrás a su familia para continuar sus estudios.
