When Elena is not Cumbia slapping her fans, she slangin wood (hardwood floors that is), being a loving family member, an empathetic friend and an active community member that's always giving. Elena has been living with endometriosis, fibroids and ovarian cysts for 25 years and will be having surgery, getting a hysterectomy. She also has an autoimmune disorder that will impact her healing time. Elena's life will improve majorly with this surgery but needs the support of her family, friends, fans and those that haven't had the honor of dancing to her drumming yet.
