In July 2025, Eddie’s whole life changed when he got the shocking news that he had stage 2 Testicular Cancer. Up until that point, Eddie was living his life as a husband, father, and deputy with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Now, Eddie will be undergoing chemotherapy, which will keep him from being able to work and provide for his family as he had been before.
