Support for Ed Cohen – Our Beloved Community Photographer

If you’ve been to community events, celebration, in our area, chances are Ed Cohen was there — camera in hand, capturing the spirit and soul of our community. Ed has dedicated countless hours to documenting our stories, always showing up with a smile and a lens full of love.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

Recently, Ed suffered a serious fall and was diagnosed with a brain bleed. He was in critical condition and spent time in the ICU. Thankfully, he will be leaving the ICU and beginning the journey of recovery. But as many of us know, Ed is self-employed. As a photographer, if he’s not working, he’s not earning — and during this time, he needs to focus on healing, not on how he’ll pay the bills.

We’re asking everyone who knows and loves Ed whether he’s photographed your wedding, community event, family milestone, or you’ve just seen his work brighten our local newsfeeds to come together and support him during this challenging time.

Let’s lift up the man who has lifted us up through his artistry for so many years. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly toward covering Ed’s living and medical expenses while he recovers.
