Stand by Dylan and Hailey's Road to Recovery

On Friday, December 13th, my son Dylan and his girlfriend Hailey were involved in a devastating accident that left them both with serious injuries. They are currently in ICU in The Woodlands, TX, recovering from multiple surgeries and facing a long road to healing.

Dylan’s Injuries: Dylan’s femur was broken in three places. He underwent surgery on Saturday to have an iron rod inserted to hold his femur in place. Fortunately, this was the extent of his physical injuries, but his recovery will take time, and he is in a lot of pain.

Hailey’s Injuries: Hailey's injuries are much more severe. She has endured four surgeries since the night of the accident, including procedures to repair a broken femur, a broken tibia, and multiple fractures to her pelvis. Additionally, doctors discovered that she had stage 5 internal bleeding caused by a lacerated spleen. Hailey was intubated before surgery and placed on a ventilator to stabilize her. The doctors are hopeful that they will be able to remove her from the ventilator soon, but her road to recovery is still uncertain, and her journey is far from over.

Prayers and support are greatly needed during this challenging time. Expenses are quickly adding up, including travel and accommodations for Hailey’s immediate family, who have traveled from California to be with her. They will be staying near the hospital until Hailey is able to care for herself after her recovery. Additional costs include daily living expenses, meals, and lost wages. Any assistance would help ease the financial burden as they focus on supporting Hailey and Dylan through this difficult journey.
