Hello, my name is Jason Jeansonne. I am Drew’s little brother. As many of you already know, Drew has been struck by a tremendous blow. He is currently hospitalized, fighting with all his might to recover from two very serious strokes he suffered on July 22nd and July 23rd. He has many mountains to climb over the coming months. Currently, Drew is struggling with many cognitive skills that we take for granted. But the most concerning is his loss of sight. The second stroke hit the part of the brain that controls sight. He is in inpatient rehabilitation now and will not be able to work for the foreseeable future. As you can imagine, he can use all the financial support he can get. The one saving grace to all of this is that Drew is still Drew. He has the same sense of humor and big heart that we all love. Even if he cannot quite see you, when he hears your voice, he will know who you are.
I know his presence in our lives has meant so much. As my big brother, he has always been there for me. I know he has been there for all of us at one time or another. Can we be there for him when he needs us most? In my heart, I know we can. Any support you can provide while Drew fights his way back from this would be invaluable.
Thank you very much,
Jason
