My name is Lisa Geiselman. I'm starting this GoFundMe for a friend and fellow coworker who is undergoing some incredible hardship, causing major depression, and he could use some help and support. Donnell is an Army veteran who dedicated his life to healthcare and to the laboratory. He worked solely nightshift for decades. He's recently had to deal with major health concerns which hospitalized him for weeks and has essentially forced him into retirement.

After the hospitalization, his landlord decided to evict him from his apartment. The reason doesn't matter. The fact is he's elderly, has diabetes, and is recovering from losing a finger to infection, and now he is homeless. He is currently staying in a motel until today, but has very little money to remain there. He's waiting for his social security check to come on the 11th, but that's a ways away and he still has to save for the security deposit and first month's rent for an apartment that he has yet to find.
