Stand by Donald: Hospitalized and Battling
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Deanna, the youngest daughter of Donald, and here’s his story.
My dad was diagnosed with stage 3 mesothelioma in January 2025 and has gone through chemo but has since stopped because the mesothelioma is growing. He’s currently hospitalized in the ICU at the VA hospital in Nashville for multiple complications. He is battling pneumonia, a pulmonary embolism, low blood pressure, along with a few other things. If you know my dad, you know he’s a funny, outgoing, sweet, pain in the butt (at times), and hard-working man. He’s 71 and still works full-time, 40 plus hours a week, to be able to keep a roof over his head. Ever since being diagnosed with mesothelioma, that’s been getting harder for him to do, and I know he likes to put up a strong front. Anything donated will be used to pay his monthly household expenses and other bills that he may receive.
Our family would be grateful for anything, even if it’s just a share. My dad deserves to rest and recover without the stress of life at home.
