Stand by Diane Van Slyke in Her Time of Need

Hello All,

We are James Corvin Incorporated, which is a construction company in Smith Mountain Lake, Va. We value our customers more than anything. We recently got sad news about one of our customers and would like to help her and her husband as much as we can. Please take a few moments to read her story and donate to a good cause.

Diane and Harold Van Slyke met in 1979 and it was love at first sight, but like most relationships, they had some patchy times. With their love for God, they overcame those areas and their love only grew stronger. In the Spring of 2024, Diane and her husband reached out to us about wanting us to build a carport. We met with them and knew that day what kind of person Diane was. Diane set off a strong vibe of love, patience, and generosity. On top of that, her smile grabbed our souls. She has been over the moon with this project. During the build, Diane would bring out refreshments to our guys, send sweet messages, and make homemade crocheted gifts for our children to show her thanks. We only grew closer to her.

On 04/02 Diane passed away peacefully with her husband by her side. We are so saddened by the news and would like to keep sharing the love to help with funeral costs. Please help Harold Van Slyke during this hard time. We are asking for anything you have to spare to help with funeral costs and medical bills. May god have mercy on his soul.
